Would you be happy with this Mad Max comet model

i am a total novice at building models and painting etc but i couldn't resist having a bash at
this Mad Max Comet Model kit, however i am obsessed with accuracy and Max looking how he did in the Road Warrior

but i have zero skills at model making, so just asking would you be happy with this model or should i keep him hidden

things am not happy with are his brace i didn't have the skill to do it properly, also i couldn't paint Max's skin tone as it is in the Road Warrior slightly sun burned

I think you did a great job. I love doing models but always hated doing figures. A++++

it looks good enough to display. you can always try repainting it later. His face looks a bit spaced-out, but that could be just the photo. You'd need to add some 'artificial' shading, eg adding the shadows as paint to enhance what will be washed out in the photo. Painting the face is the hardest part of any model or figure, so i wouldn't be too ashamed it's not perfect. the leg brace needs some work, as he couldn't bend his knee.

look for guides of guys painting 54mm and 120mm figure models for hints and techniques.
