Chevy "no worries" Impala 1:64

this was sort of a rescue project. this diecast was old, dirty and had dustballs inside it when I got it. but it had the right color and basically the right flames. but that also meant I couldn't strip and paint it, had to work with it as it was. it's kinda beat up, but hey it was sitting around the Outback in a one-horse town, right. plus the movie car is a 4-door and this is a coupe, but it's the closest I've seen and it only cost me one dollar.

I took it apart, cleaned all the parts and the body, hacked out the chassis to handle thicker wheels, painted the interior white, added the hood pipes (although I could only fit 6), tried to capture the hood ornament stretched-skull thingy in at least spirit, and added the sidepipes and the silver trim on the front and back. and the rubber mag wheels.

I'd say it looks decent from about 3' away, LOL
