I'm in contact with some guy from Graf X who worked on the Black on Black and he gave me those pictures :

It's the XB Falcon before the paint job !

I will use them for my book, but I know you'll enjoy them ! :)

Damn. It looks like a complete different car without the nose cone and in white. Even though it already got the supercharger build on.
But it still is a very cool car.
"UNDERSTEER" is when you hit the fence with the front of the car.
"OVERSTEER" is when you hit the fence with the rear of the car.
"HORSEPOWER" is how fast you hit the fence.
"TORQUE" is how far you take the fence with you.

The base vehicle, registered in Victoria as IFE 509, appeared in Street Machine, December 2011 issue.

So in these early images, white then black with nose cone, roof anf rear wing, zoomies and side flares, the blower still doesn't have a pulley. Just a front blanking plate on the supercharger.

So what's the deal with having no pulley in the early days?

Being that the blower is *spoiler* FAKE *spoiler* then there was no imediate need for it until the rest of the car was ready. I suppose they needed it for the bonnet cut out only.

Still remember the restored car touring Perth in the 80's, in it's little tent but for some reason I didn't go down to my local K-Mart in Maddington to check it out in the flesh.

Hopefully these pictures will end the whole debate on what status on how the car was found and who and when performed the BoB modifications.
