Wow, in the photo gallery, looks like the wrecks (2nd interceptor and the cobra truck) made it to the BACK 2 THE MAX! That is totally cool! did anyone get pics of the truck? I could really use close ups all around for my replica. Were there any other movie vehicles there? Looks like the truck drives again?

Also who did the "Red XA / Bat Coupe" hybred vehicle, its very cool, but looked a little out of place next to all those exact replicas, too bad they didnt go all out for the "Red Wipeout", Oh well I guess its still up to me to build the first!!

MFP1, You doing a replica of the cobra truck? I have thought about doing one for some time. The ONLY difference between the US F100 an the Aussie one is the steering wheel placement. A '71 (72?) 2wd ford can be had dirt cheap. the tow rig & boat windscreen would be the only pricy / obscure items in the whole project. ( assuming you can weld, I can't ) Still may tackle the project someday though. I'd really like to see someone do the lifted '57 DeSoto though! Good luck with the "wipeout" clone.

MFP1 I took some great shot of the cobra truck just for you. I can mail them to you ahead of the video if you give me your email.

I'm gonna remind everyone again. That pink desoto is a '59, not a '57. Peter has it as a '57 on his MM2 cars page, and I've emailed him telling him its a '59, but he doesn't want to change it because of a lack of evidence, even though I sent him pics of both model years.

There is, or was last year, a pink 2 door '59 Desoto for sale near me, that hasn't sold in a while. It is probably still there, but I like the look of the '57 and '58 Desotos (which looked pretty much the same as each other) better than the '59 (different headlights and taillights), and I don't like pink, or I would have bought it.

Err, it's a '59 on the cars page. I believe I updated this not long after you last emailed me, along with the links you provided to some examples (or someone provided).
