Rock band gets inspiration for a video from my costumes!

Postby HUMVEE Driver » Wed Mar 21, 2012 9:03 pm

I got an e-mail from a band member of Deathsquad Demongods... he said he used my spark plug armor as an inspiration for a costume of his own, which they then used in their Mad Max themed video!
Very cool!

I've actually been given 'homage'!

Cool. Music's not bad either. They look too clean, though.

Stevie (the lead singer) was at last year's Wasteland Weekend. You can see him wearing the spark plug shoulder pads in some of the WW2011 pics.

I have to say I like the song. The video is very well done, the camera work makes it feel like the stunts were done in a moving vehicle. The drummer's drum stick shoulder pads made me grin. The personalized individual armor has a bizarre KISS flair to it.

That’s very cool! I always thought the spark plugs idea was brilliant.
