If cars had been shot in Australia

Postby tokyospark » Tue Jun 28, 2011 2:30 am

I have been a fan of the MM movies for years, and now a fan of the current Pixar Cars as well.
Thought I'd throw together a render of how the interceptor would look if it had been a character.

I think the whole 'cars' franchise sucks arse. its designed solely to market shit to kids. i see the 'cars' toy cars in stores and they are three or four times the cost that a regular toy car is - why ? because they are exploiting whining children and indulgent parents.

i refuse to even watch it on TV.

i do like that BOB rendering though.

You know, with that design, and Mel Gibsons voice, cars 3 might be worth watching :-)

Looks absolutely great.
Cars is definitely shot in the wrong country. :D
"UNDERSTEER" is when you hit the fence with the front of the car.
"OVERSTEER" is when you hit the fence with the rear of the car.
"HORSEPOWER" is how fast you hit the fence.
"TORQUE" is how far you take the fence with you.

Thanks for the positive comments guys. I have been inspired to do Big Bopper as well.
Although those stripes are gonna be a pain in the arse.

May do the Humongous car some day when I get better at this.
