Spin-off thread ~ WORST MOVIE(S) EVER

Postby March Hare » Mon Aug 25, 2008 12:50 pm

SAM B R.W's thread about "The Stranger's" movie gave me an idea about listing the absolute worst films in history. OR just a super-crappy one that belongs there ;)

We all have opinions so no bickering about the list (yeah right).

Lets start it off with:

(1) MEGAFORCE (1982) starring Barry Bostwick ~ S.T.U.P.I.D

(2) The CELL (2000) staring J-Lo ~ Just throw Gigli in this crap pile also

(3) The ADVENTURES of PLUTO NASH (2002) starring Eddie Murphy ~ He sucked after going sober ~

(4) SMOKEY & THE BANDIT 3 (1983) ~ didn't have Burt Reynolds

(5) JAWS (4?) ~ The Revenge? ~ (1987) Worst movie that Michael Cane was ever in

Not to age myself but I saw BREAKER BREAKER when it was released at the box office.

If you had $5.00 and Chuck Norris had $5.00, Chuck Norris would have more money.

Is this Movies that were Badly Done or movies we didn't like?

There's lots of movies I consider really well done that I hated and vise versa..

As for the above mentioned LOTR Films.. Flawlessly done IMO and I Liked.
Pirates 1 & 2 bad?
2, Yes, I'll agree there.. but the first one was a lot of fun and quite well done.
(#3 I haven't even bought on DVD and I'm a DVD Hoarder)

I don't like a lot of the big Blockbust A-List Hollywood movies with 99% CGI. Like Lord of the Rings and Pirates. I watched Breaker Breaker on demand and that movie was stupid and not because it was made in the '70s,it just was. '70's was one of the best times for movies.

No Worries.. Everyone's allowed to like/dislike what they want to.

I was just trying to clarify. ;)

CGI Does, IMO, have it's place.
I got no problem with CGI for Dinosaurs, Monsters, Spacecraft, sets that can't be built or locations that don't exist and/or wouldn't be safe to film on..

But for car stunts and sets that could be easily built practically... It does seem stupid.

(1) That movie was bad. The person in charge of the "On Demand" list from wherever you ordered it from should be fired.

(2) Chuck Norris on the whole is a TERRIBLE actor so you can place almost all of his movies in the crap pile.

I DID like "DEATH PROOF" somewhat, but the other half of Grindhouse ~ "Planet Terror" ~ I had to shut off within 2 minutes cuz is was SO lame.

I watched all of DeathProof waiting for it to get better.

I can't think of any terrible movies, I guess any movie where the misses beeds a box of tissues.

I loved the enitre GRINDHOUSE experience. Both movies and the 4 fake trailers. Also I only tolerate CGI with sci-fi shows like Babylon 5 & Stargate SG1 among others.
