I agree with Bugs and I have not had to deal with subject yet so dont really know what to say. I know that I will miss certain members of my family when they do pass on.

Sorry Bart...this post slipped under my Radar!

Sorry for your loss I'm sure your Dad was mighty proud....of both of you!

Now's the time to look after yourself...whether you realise it or not..you've been through a lot both mentally and physically...make sure you're eating right...and try to get some sleep and keep and eye on your family 'bout this as well!

Hang tough big fella!

Bart - you don't need to take downers mate. They'll only make you feel like shyte the next day and make everything foggy and crap.Sleep will come eventually, when you're ready-don't rush it.Grief takes it's own special time.

What you need to do is personal and only you can do - celebrate and remember your Dad in the ways that make sense to you and your family. We could give you umpteen suggestions but in the end it's what means the most to your and yours.

And Talk, Talk,Talk and Talk some more about your Dad - don't stop talking about him or his sayings or his ideas or his favourite things or your collective memories of him - even if it hurts,Talk about it coz if you don't,it clogs up your insides and rots-which isn't what your Dad wanted.Celebrate his very essence that he stamped on you while he was your Dad.
