Here are the tire sizes, I found them at Gordon Haye's page:

Rear wheels 15 X 10 steel Speedway, "Apache" style.

Front wheels 14 X 8 steel Speedway, "Apache" style.

Wheels custom made with specific offset, (to suit coupe).

Rear tyres, BF Goodrich T/A radials, 295-50-15.

Front tyres, BF Goodrich T/A radials, 265-50-14.

:-) Please keep in mind that I'm looking for the tyre size on the ORIGINAL car in Keswick at the Cars of the Stars Motor Museum. It may be that Gordon's front wheels are the same size, but we need to VERIFY before we have a few SETS of wheels made up just in case the original car has 15 inchers on it.

Also - another fan had made the suggestion we contact the folks at the museum directly. We've already made contact with Peter Nelson in the past, the owner of the museum both via a fan who went in person, and by e-mail. This is why we've posted to this message board. Peter has mentioned getting the tyre sizes to us, but is busy and forgetful at times. He may eventually send us the information we need, but in the interim the project is on hold and we would like to proceed as we would like to paint the wheels at the same time as the car. The wheel maker cannot make the wheels until we give him the green light.

This is why we ask for the help of any U.K. fans who can stop in to the COTS Museum in Keswick, read the front tyre size on the original car, and then provide it. Once we know the tyre size - everything else will fall into place.

If it turned out that the wheels were 15 inchers up front, it would be an expensive mistake to correct later on several sets of wheels. It may well be that they are 14 inchers - we just want to find out for sure one way or another.

So if anyone in the U.K. can get the original Interceptor FRONT tyre size which is on the sidewall of the tyre and post it - it would be

MOST appreciated. :-) Thanks for the suggestions and help so far. Steve
Gotta hand it to ya treasure - the last of the V8 interceptors. Woulda been a shame to blow it up...
