some cars are done the mack is being worked on with incredible detail if you go to the links above you will find see the newest wip shots.

the mack is finishing up most of it is done minus the cabin,hood and interrior. there is a level wherey ou sorta have to defend alittle rc car using a little rc helicopter...were goig nto shrink down them ack and the gyrocpter to replace them in game so that the mission will play more like whem max got the rig and was returnign it to the compound. we're also looking into makeing newer versions of the go carts to make a sort of "mad maxio kart." kinda thing.

the mack truck ins nearing completion for those of you intrested click on the link in hte first post and then move on to the last 3 pages to see the progression alot of work still needs be done but she is getting there and is in a lot better shape then when she was first presented. also hte lord humungus's scoped .44 magnum is also nearly finished and ready for use in vice city.

http://www.gtaforums.com/index.php?showtopic=152461&st=260 i'm sure peopel care less right now but i put up a 6 month anneversary update with pictures of the cars in progress thoguth ti takig nalong long time i the team leader and modeler have not given up and the mack truck is very closed to being finished and the humungus truck is evolving into soemthgi nyou definatley want to downlaod along with the game.


there are even multiplayer prgarms beign made for san andreas pc so you could all have games of attack the rig with you favorite mad max/road warrior cars or even try to see hwat would happen if you ramed the semi with tanker trailer with the humungus truck. so lots of possibilities and lots of work from me and the otehr modders to make a great game even better so go check it out.

I'm *very* interested in this mod. I'm contemplating on doing a sci fi GTA-like game myself, heavily influenced by both the Mad Max series and Blade Runner.





Ever since that topic was posted on the main site, I've been checking it religiously. I may end up asking some of you people for help, if and only after I have something working on my own accord. Those working on this project of yours are very talented individuals. I just love the XB coupe and the MACK truck...

sounds very interseting toecutter ...been working for years on a way to marry the termiantor,road warrior and the matrix...but so far nothing fruitful. anyways back to the mod.


the red xa "rocky" bat car is done it works in vice city and will also be translated into san andreas.


were doing a dual release of most models since some people can't a. afford the game at the moment or b. can't play it on their out dated systems so we're not leaving you all high and dry skate on over to the gtaforums for a look at our progress,the landau is being done up next.


so fear not...but as for team leader tomarrow i start a long over due 2 week vacation while i'm gone thoguth the rigs (both armoed and unarmored ) will be getting skinend and ready for vice city/san andreas beta testing for a final useable model. the modeling and tech stuff is done but cars and trucks will not run without a skin in vice city or sa.


soon as san ndreas hit s pc we should be able to start the first chracter in the mod....the easiest one to do right now is the "bad cop" meshes as the biker cops in sa have alot of simularaities and would take small changes to make it look just like the "bad cop" in road warrior. more characters should be emergeing after that. this jsut seem to be the easiest one i could think of right off that bat since they are some of my favorite marauders outside of humungus and wez.


so keep watching the topics as soon as sa comes out we should be releasing some of the vice city cars but we might wait till the san andreas versions are ready before we release the vice ones.


were up to 4 cars (2 mad max 2 raod warrior) done and ready for conversion.

big news and impoter/exporter for 3d stuido max has been made available for use in making vehicles for san andreas again for thsoe worried down't be vice city releases will be out with the san andreas releases.


this means all our vice city cars can now start the convertion process so that we can release the 3 cars and one bike we have working.


so for those thinking this was jsut another mod that gets yoru hopes up then dies out were here to stay and will soon have product for you all. but patience is the key word here san andreas is alot different then vice city for one thign the .col file is built into the .dff model mesh and skinnign with reflective maps may pose a challenge but we'll work out the kinks and get these models off and running.


before i get a flood of messages no i have no exact release date for these mods all i can say is soon there being worked on now and we hope to have them out soon.





edit :update: hate double postign thought i have done it a few times i htink it's tiem i jsut keep it in here for a while. got the importer for 3d studio max workign to make it so that one coudl in theory import cars guns and people into 3d max and then export the finished model inthe san andreas. workign on the red xa first as that seems to be them ost popular model next the the wez bike out of what we have done thus far and got working in vice city.


there are new model dummys in san andreas so it will take a while before i can post our first of 4 models tread for sa convertion but it's beign done.


aslo sa has semi truck trialer support and i have the tanker trailer in max as of now and have been slwoly armorign it up to be skinned liek in the movie so that one gets the full effect of the replication work i am doign to bring road warrior and mad max to san andreas pc.


so be aware i'm working as hard and as fast as i can right now to get htigns working so we can release cars for both san andreas and vice city but note vice city doesnot support trialer haulign so no tanker trialers in vice city.

bumpign htis topic cause htis is a big update...soon yoru patience will have paid off because i got the model exporter workign for san andreas so the vice city models we do have done (5 in total) are being converterd and tested once we have the models dummys figured out right then it's just a matter of time before we get the handelign and skins right for san andreas then it's on to releasign them.


so the wait for vice city/san andreas mad max/road warrior mod will soon be over were gettign some models done.
