Gooses bike accident scene

Im no expert on cameras, but i dont think in 1979 that movie cameras wouldve been too small...my point being..how was the scence shot from Gooses view point while he was going flat out on the road before he crashes his bike??? Did he have a really large camera strapped to his head while doing over a 130km/h??

Seriously now though.....any thoughts??

an F100 was next to him with the cameras on the back!
