Just curious, anyone know whats on the signpost at the beginning of mm2? There are a few boards with writing on them, and one of the "vermin's" chase vehicles smashed one off as its flips over.

Thanks

The location listing at this web site says the sign is a posting with "Mundi Mundi" spelled at the top. If you get your hands on the new reissue/widescreen it may reveal more since the resolution is fantastic. Without widescreen the sign also gets blocked out to a degree.

It says MUNDI MUNDI on the top line and LOOK OUT on the bottom line - both lines centered. regs, Steve
Gotta hand it to ya treasure - the last of the V8 interceptors. Woulda been a shame to blow it up...

You're right, it's basically a signpost marking the Mundi Mundi Lookout, it's probably the only on screen cue that actually gives you a location name that was used. The rest of the signage is pointers to far away locations, giving their distances, like "Paris XXX K", "London XXX K", "New York XXX K".

I have been told by people who have visited there in more recent years that the sign is no longer there.
