Here are more reasons why that 'exclusive' news is bullshit:

The crew responsible for arranging purchases for the movie would have done it months in advance (unless it's storyboarding time again). The technical/SFX crew that would work on this is available from March only as they've just finished working on Alien Covenant last month and are currently working on Pacific Rim: Maelstrom and Peter Rabbit both scheduled for 2018. Most of all: storyboard artists close to Miller don't know anything about this.

All in all:

Don't trust those 'sources' from Herald. They're full of shit.

"No word yet if original road warrior MEL GIBSON will make an appearance but there would be no need to fear a Mad Mel tirade given the franchise’s scripts are famously word wastelands."

I think that should have been a queue that this article was nothing but made up clickbait.

The front page of Reddit already caught wind of this story....

A couple of the more respectable movie sites ran with this "story". Slow weekend, I guess.

I wonder how long it will be before we hear anything official. I figured by now we would have heard *something*. After all, it's been 16 months since Fury Road's release, and 7 months since it won all those Oscars. And Miller isn't getting any younger. He'll be 72 in six months.

There *was* that rumor about Miller being interested in making a DC "New Gods" movie. Maybe GM and WB are trying to hammer out a multi pic deal.

And we wait....

Man, this is disappointing.

At least they question the credibility of the source but I guess that's enough to get attention either way.

My sources say that this rumor was started by someone in the SFX dept.

They are only getting around to releasing the Black & White version this December which might be a sign of things to come and how long it will take the next film to start rolling.
