My autoart interceptor

Postby AllanJ » Fri May 20, 2016 9:03 pm

I had this on ebay. After photographing it and scrutinizing, I decided to end the listing and redo a few things. I got this in 2008 or so, after a guy I met on ebay sent his to weather up. When I got mine, I did the same, and added some accessories.

Great job!

I have one criticism though: the car might be a little too dirty, in the first pic it looks orange all over but maybe that's the white balance of your camera because it looks ok in other pictures.

Yes, the orange is the poor white balance, due mostly to my interior lights at night.

But yes, I might even say too dirty. But I tend to go that route. You should see my WW2 land vehicles and Millennium Falcon.

I suppose it depends on when was the last time Max drove through a rainstorm....

Very good model. That weathering must be one of the toughest jobs to do to make it realistic. I certainly couldn't do it.
"UNDERSTEER" is when you hit the fence with the front of the car.
"OVERSTEER" is when you hit the fence with the rear of the car.
"HORSEPOWER" is how fast you hit the fence.
"TORQUE" is how far you take the fence with you.

You have two way die brush or with pigment , but i like with pigment it's look like real dust , if you mix with paint it may do Mud , or you can mix with a clear shiny, mat, gloss.
The clear i use is Vallejo it from Spain , the paint is awesome when you put it on figurine ex: soldier , you have more choice of variety of colour than Tamyia more than testor maybe other brand.
