To Switchum, Just want to say how incredible Wez turned out. As for Humungus, It too is going to match Wez's standard. But if you don't mind me saying so, see what you can do about the mask. I've included this modified pic to help. (unless it's too late) The small changes make a huge difference.

Thanks for the compliment, G Kritty. No I don't mind any constructive criticism. I actually was in the middle of altering the face-mask as I noticed that it was rather small and the shape was off as you pointed out.

This is what I got

I have to say this has been bit harder project than I initially thought. I do not want to make him look like a Marvel comic hero statue or any existing Conan the Barbarian statue, you know? Trying to find happy medium...So I repeatedly bulked him up, and thinned him down.... But I think I can finally start detailing him.

That's some excellent work.
And a very realistic job on the cat statue too
"UNDERSTEER" is when you hit the fence with the front of the car.
"OVERSTEER" is when you hit the fence with the rear of the car.
"HORSEPOWER" is how fast you hit the fence.
"TORQUE" is how far you take the fence with you.

Thanks for the kind words, Seriz! I am actually a cat sculptor, Nightwalker. I sculpt more cats than anything else.

Anyway this is what I got so far. Getting close to be done.

Absolute jaw dropping. To me it looks like I'm looking at a black and white photo of the character rather than a sculpted piece of clay.
Will you do a Max now? Wounded eye optional?

Thanks for the kind words, G Kritty. I appreciate it.
I am pretty much done with him. Just sent bunch of pictures to the client and waiting for their approval. Those are some of the pics I sent.

I did Mad Max Mel while back, G Kritty. I think there is a picture of it at my Jim Goose thread.
The Road Warrior Mel has been done to the death by many sculptors and action figure customizers so I can't say I would be interested doing it unless someone is willing to pay for my time. Till next time, I am gonna go back to sculpt kitties.

Anyway thanks for all the encouragement and support on this project, follks!

This looks absolutely brilliant, Switchum! I can only imagine it'll look even better when painted.

By the way, my name is not Sam Tyson. They came up with the name without my consent.

It will be while but I am sure they do great job on painting the Lord Humungus up. Wez has been painted by them already.
