I always thought the bolt 'sheath' was kinda half stitched and half rivet.
See the little silver dots? rivets, i think.

oh hang on, no they can't be stitched or rivetted to his pants, or it would still be attached in behind the scenes pictures i've seen.
Maybe it's buckled behind the thigh or something?

I have to agree, rockatansky4073
It is hard to see but there seem to be two straps sticking out from the area

rockatansky4073, can I possibly see the behind the scene pictures you speak of? I am curious and might find something I can use.
Thanks

Appreciate Rrocatansky4073 and Seriz for sending reference pictures for me.

Hope you are being safe there, Seriz.

Here is another head, comes as option. The other head should have a collar on it

I have been jumping around sculpting different parts everyday, which is nice as I tend to get tired of staring at one area easily.

Changed his pose slightly ; wanted to change his neck and arms.
Found a belt material at a fabric store that are similar to his tummy cover in the scale and altered it. Looks better, I think.

I was sculpting feathers one by one but it looked like crap and super time consuming so played around a few hours to come up with solution. But hope builders are gonna use tiny real feathers for it.

Well making the crossbow took whole day. Would have been less if one of my kitties hadn't decided to play with it and lose it somewhere in my studio.
Again Thanks for G Kritty. Your drawing helped out greatly. I had to fill some negative space, and omit small detail as it needs to be molded. It is made of 3 parts- bottom part is sculpted onto his arm for possible cheaper molding.

I would like to finish him this week and move onto other project.
