Illegal taxi company Uber gives rides in "Mad Max" cars

Uber provides rides in Mad Max-themed cars to promote Mad Max video game

I'm impressed that one of the cars involved was a BOB replica, but it's a real stretch to suggest that any of these other vehicles have much of a connection to the Mad Max universe.

(If you can't view the full panoramic photo, follow the link I posted in order to see all the cars)

I'm injecting a note of trollish hyperbole there. Uber has certainly done things that regulators and taxi drivers have had major problems with. Their business model from the get-go has been modeled on the idea that it's easier to ask for forgiveness than permission.

Uber is also active over here in The Netherlands. It's in the news regularly because of its illegal operations.
It is illegal to do taxi business if you don't have a taxi license.
"UNDERSTEER" is when you hit the fence with the front of the car.
"OVERSTEER" is when you hit the fence with the rear of the car.
"HORSEPOWER" is how fast you hit the fence.
"TORQUE" is how far you take the fence with you.

Uber is illegal in Australia as well.

For those who use it, you have no insurance if you have an accident in one of their cars.
No police checks on drivers
No checks on the car to see if its actually safe.

What UBER does it tell its drivers to keep breaking the law and they will pay the fines.
Uber then uses its huge amount of money (its backed by goldmen sachs, the people who ruined the USA, and Google) to challenge the respective governments of each country it wants to break into. Think about it. A Foreign corporation is telling your government what to do or it will be sued.

UBER also tracks you with its APP.
Sells the details of you and where you go to third parties, like advertising companies.

They also dont pay taxes.
Dont pay their workers any healthcare cover, super annunation (retirement fund)
We are 100% snafu....

Indeed, and Uber's competitors are no better. A friend of mine leased a new Prius just so he could work for Uber and Lyft, but he's really screwed now, because a Lyft customer filed a false report with the company claiming he was driving unsafely, and Lyft banned him. No appeals process was available to him, and there was no burden of proof on the customer who filed the complaint.
