That was cool, man!
pisses me off though how the whole world is taking an interest now and we were there all along trying to convince them of the greatest films ever made, but they wouldn't listen.

Speaking of Mad Max, here's the most recent Mel Gibson interview from Scream Factory MM Blu Ray re-issue (bonus content I presume). He's talking how he got the role in it.

That last bit of the first clip. I can't remember it as a bit of MM1. Is this a deleted scene they used in this interview?

After Goose gets burned, Max and Jesse are talking on the beach and Max is eating a sandwich.

Is that the bit you mean? If so, it was in the original release.

Fortunately, the most dangerous stunt in the entire film—the rolling of the tanker in the climactic scene—went off without a hitch. Dennis Williams, driver of the truck, was not allowed to eat for 12 hours before the scene was shot, a precaution designed to reduce potential complications if he had to be rushed to emergency surgery. A helicopter and ambulance were kept standing by and many members of the production refused to come watch.

Interesting, I wonder if they refused because they were opposed to it, as in they thought it was too dangerous. Or if it was just a "I can't watch this" kind of situation fearing it might not end well, which I guess could also imply they thought it was too dangerous :).

Damn, is it that long since I've seen MM1? :o  I just checked the BD and it is indeed there.
Time to watch the old ones again, I guess
