Is that a different version than the jerry-can version I have here?
Or is it a special version of only MM1?
"UNDERSTEER" is when you hit the fence with the front of the car.
"OVERSTEER" is when you hit the fence with the rear of the car.
"HORSEPOWER" is how fast you hit the fence.
"TORQUE" is how far you take the fence with you.

Yes. It's an all new release by Scream Factory that should have plenty of new bonus content and likely a new transfer.

Is there any evidence to support this claim?

On a side note, I guess we're never going to see the "Madness of Max" docu.

My understanding is that Scream Factory produce all new transfers for their releases that they personally handle, along with new additional content.

It's why their releases have become such sought after.

Also that cover art is glorious and beautiful! Looks like something Drew Struzan would of done if he still worked in the industry.

Max is wearing the shoulder pad from Road Warrior and Thunderdome! Just a little bit of effort next time...

I'm sure he never wore that helmet in the original film either -- just give it a little leeway next time...

It would have worked had his right sleeve been cut. Then one could argue that it was the image of Max right after the events of MM 1 and before MM 2.
