'63 Chrysler Imperial for XB Coupe

People come here to trade, do a little business. If you've got nothing to trade you've got no business in Bartertown. (Buy / Sell / Swap / etc)

It's a long shot, but spread the word.

I'm willing to trade a '63 Chrysler Imperial Crown Edition for a decent XB coupe.

Buyer will pay shipping there, and I'll arrange shipping from Australia for the coupe.

Anybody want a BIG boat? Would make a great limo or cruiser.

Yeah, it's got a 413, autopilot (cruise control), pushbutton transmission and a rectangular steering wheel. Plus power vent windows and more ashtrays than seatbelts.

This isn't a tank. More of a flying carpet. OK, a hovertank...

Had it up to 95mph or so as I remember and it floated over bumps. I actually wondered if I was still in contact with the ground. Very soft ride...

Well, guess I'll look for buyers over here and apply the money towards the XB Coupe fund...

Nah, but I can't make an Interceptor out of such a rare car. It would be like making a Joe Dirt replica out of a Superbird/Petty Charger.

So I'm gonna have to get ANOTHER coupe for an Interceptor project...

Jeez...

No more rare cars for me! I want a nice Fairmont or GS with a V-8, automatic and anything else is icing on the cake. Hell, I'd be happy with a data plate that says Falcon 500 6 cyl that somebody converted to a V-8 car. I'm not chasing original or rare.

So if you see a decent V-8 auto XB coupe with black interior, side flutes and a GT/GS bonnet let me know. 9 inch rear is a plus.

I'll swap for any comparable US car you are looking for. Camaros? Mustangs? Torinos?

its more likely to be cheaper to buy a chrysler already in australia than to export one back and get it complianced..i know a guy that had the same model plus an earlier model dodge..which he spliced an xb ford engine bay (firewall forward ) onto it...it was an excellent match up without noticing any difference when the front panels were fixed to the new engine bay..all for a better suspension ride.
