Rebuilt Wastland 57, Toyota Soarer & Mad Police

Postby Zarana-X » Mon Jan 30, 2012 1:02 pm

I tottally rebuilt my Toyota Soarer, I hated the blue interior. I painted it stock, then modified it from there. The rear of the car is out of focus, but i built a luggage rack and strapped some spare tires to it. Still needs weathering.

Redid the hood on the Chevy, I took the blower off and put Hillborne intectors on it.

Built a missile rack for the faux "Mad Police Interceptor", and redid the intake.

For a moment I thought I was looking at a genuine Mad Police interceptor. The guards of the model did not match the box art, and that annoyed me. Lambo wheels per chance?

The other two look good too.

Thanks, this is a reissus of the street machine Firebird you had apicture of. With out knowing, I would guess thsoe are lamborghini wheels, but they are from a Bandai super deformed/chibi Mustang kit. (Google doesn't know anythign about this kit) There was a few different cars, they were motorized and had a guard in the front similar to RC cars.

I think the black is a bit overdone, but I need to drybrush the rust and some other highlights, then some chalk dusting.

Nicely executed improvements. The Soarer looks much better in white, the luggage rack looks cool too from what I can see of it. I'm digging the 57 Chevy even more with the new hoodscoop! Good work.

Soarer is finished. Maybe. Was gonna make some bedrolls or tarps for the luggage rack.
