Some toy cars I found at my parents' house

I was going through boxes at my parents' house this weekend and look what I found:

A mix of die-cast and slot cars. They belonged to my younger brother; seems he was way more into Mad Max cars than I was back in the day. (He would have been about 9.) Kinda surprising. :)

I'm not sure, but this might have been his Playmobil interpretation of Jedediah's plane:

Nice. I used to reneact stuff, but I never modified my toy cars to do it.
Do those slot cars have the motors and junk in them? My friend had that Ford one. It's either a Cortina or an Escort, I get the two confused  . I remember that Matchbox Mustang, I think it was called piston popper or somethign stupid. One of those roll-a-matics.

You are correct, sir: Piston Popper. The slot car (MFP) is intact except for the missing blower.

I love that black sierra XR4i in the left lower corner, I always knew it would look good as an Interceptor/Pursuit special.

Those are seriously impressive! I'm sure most kids played MadMax with their toy cars but he went to some special effort there.

I used to own a black XR4i, I guess now I know why!

The blower on the XRi4 is the one to the cop car 71 Plymouth Satellite. I have the same slot car only mines missing the litebar and sidepipes and motor
