I couldn't part with my kit, it is built and a prize in my collection. If you are interested in photos, check out the yahoo archive on the FAQ (Interdictors models) at least I think that's where it is located. it's archived somewhere on there. However, If you are interested in something specific, I would be willing to try and find it locally and work out a way to ship it to you, Just cover the cost of the kit & shipping. I recently moved to a little town (1200 people) in the middle of rural Iowa, so I don't have access to my beloved Hobbyshop in Denver Colorado anymorethough, I am Going to Denver from the 25th to the 3rd, so if you are quick, I can try to locate it for you. If you are seeking an Interceptor Kit, I purchased mine Mail order, and would reccomend you check out the faq for retailers.

To find an Interceptor kit, look under Merchandise/ Models:vehicles/ Interceptor sub-page on the FAQ. there are links to several companys selling interceptor kits. This is how I got mine (from John Green models) I built mine from the Bang/TNT kit. I would not necessairly reccomend this kit as it requires A LOT of custom work & finishing to get a decent finished product. However, if you are patient & very careful, it does eventually look OK. I have not built any of the other kits myself, but there are some reviews of others. They seem to be more expensive, but have more accurate details.

As far as tips, I have a HUGE box of bits and pieces, and dig through it searching for pieces that look interesting. Mainly I try to build things that are realistically possible. I tend to make up stories for my cars, To decide how to build them I try to think about how it's "owner" would use it and what he would want or need. I use white plastic tubing for all sorts of things: Roll bars, Roll cages, etc, I use window screen (for your house) as steele mesh. All of the dents and "battle damage is done with a cigerette lighter (use care as some plastic is quite thin and will melt through easily) don't actually melt the plastic, just get it warm & it shapes easily. I often use an old car body to press the dents so that they have a realistic shape to them. My "secret" formula for scale rust is as follows: Apply VERY small drop (s) of liquid cement to the place where you want rust, then sprinkle fine Cigerette ash on the glue. let this sit for just a minute or so, then scoop the goo out of the middle. this gives a 3/D look of scaling rust Then just paint (good old Rust color paint) the areas when dry. Beyond that, Just use your imagination. I have had some great finished kits that I had no idea where I was going with them when I started.

Also, I would love to see pics of your kits. Good luck! keep building! the more you do, the better you will get. many of my kits were built & rebuilt over the years
