Here's a Fury Road-inspired model I recently finished. 1:24. 500+ parts. 6 months. Hope you like it...

"HEMI" is a combo of a "Truck Accessory" driver, bits from a Fujimi mechanic set, and some random figure/body parts. The gear includes: goggles of tube styrene/putty. 1:35 military packs, tape for leggings, styrene for shoulder tyre armour, and K-Whopper emblems from the Italeri "Australian" Kenworth kit. He's painted with Testors Flat Black, Camouflage Grey, Skin Tone, Chrome Silver (so shiny). The steering wheel is '71 GTX, and the skull is styrene.

I'm absolutely digging it, in my opinion it's more true to the Mad Max franchise than cars in Fury Road.

Looks like a Hot Rod version of a mad max car post, or pre- Beyond Thunderdome, with rags on top, paint, tyres suited for paved roads. Sort of like a Fury Road hot rod if the War Boys didn't turn it into a religious symbol. Very utilitarian, nomad type of vehicle. I'm not too sold on the thundersticks though, because I have no idea how the lancer would get to throw them. The front end reminds me of the MM2 Jeep Front marauder car, DIY stuff, the front bumper looks the bomb. The small cow catcher is spot on, something that's been missing from Fury Road too (c'mon, cow catchers on cars in Mad Max is a must!). Overall, you nailed it, great job!

Taipan.
The body is supposed to replicate fiberglass, that's why there's blue gelcoat showing through the still-intact paint, and no rust, except where metal is in contact with it.
The rear tyres are from an American "Sprint" dirt race car, while the fronts are street "lops" (albeit one bald with a missing stud, and the other one is new).
The "Thundersticks" are just extras, there for storage (and looked the part), as the vehicle is made for one person. Maybe Hemi is a munitions maker, or they are positioned like Samurai "sashimono"...dunno.
I kind of thought the vehicle was more of an "Interceptor", or "Suicide Jockey", since it has four fuel tanks, and a big bottle of nitrous feeding the Scott-injected, 6:70to1 blown, 426 Hemi, to either overtake it's prey, or blow them up.

Very impressive, well done! I love the feel of a hot car that survived, has been modified, and continues to survive. No, this is not a vehicle sacrifed willingly. Every army needs fast, reliable re-supply.
