More stuff. These will help cover up the fence. The symbols scattered throughout are hobo glyphs.

I like the reference to carousel :D Lots of fun stuff you have there.
Great Atomic Cafe sign too, does it buzz when "Cafe" blinks on and off? :D
Every time I hear that in the movie I think that someone's getting a tattoo. In the pockyclypse, all lights buzz when blinking.

that's a great idea to have it buzz and flash, alas I don't have much experience with electronics. thanks for the post!

If it's 12v powered you might try a flasher like this:
