Nothing a year in the tropics wouldn't fix

I decided to take my Jim Goose cosplay to the next level by breaking my leg in a few places ...

Might be on here more than usual for the next couple of weeks!

lol, thanks guys :)

I think I'll skip trying to ride a bike with my leg in plaster ... but crutch technology doesn't appear to have moved forwards much in the last 27 odd years 'cause my shiny new ones look about the same!

Kick it in the guts, Barry!

To stay with the movie quotes: "Oh, my god. What happened?"

I know what it is like that. I had a spiral fracture in my lower right leg when I was 7 years old. Also in cast from halfway my foot till the top of my leg for 10 weeks.
"UNDERSTEER" is when you hit the fence with the front of the car.
"OVERSTEER" is when you hit the fence with the rear of the car.
"HORSEPOWER" is how fast you hit the fence.
"TORQUE" is how far you take the fence with you.

Roller skating accident (before you laugh too much, I also have a 6" scar across my scalp from a motorbike accident, so I've earned my stripes, lol).

This is annoying 'cause I just bought a Bandit 600 a couple of weeks back and I've not got to put any serious miles on it yet :(

Get well soon. I'm a terrible skater myself, and my ex girlfriend binned her Bandit 1200 the day she got it, trying to race a guy on a scooter!

Oh dear! Hope she's ok - I have to admit the 1200 would be a death sentence for me, I'd have to find out just how far I could push it ... a co-worker just got an '80s VFR250 so he can scream around without a high likelihood of splattering himself (he rides flat out everywhere and already has a modded Bandit 600 too)

Reminds me of all those photos people post of their thighs/legs, but this has a better story behind it :).

She was fine, it was very low speed in the wet and the weight that caught her out I think. The bike was a massive step up for her as she only had a Jap import Suzuki Goose before that. Hey a Goose! We came full circle!
