My Mad Max inspired LUV

Postby Interdictor » Fri Jun 08, 2012 5:11 am

Had to share, since I have been on a posting spree...My 1980 Chevy LUV 4x4:
Isuzu 1.8L (That's 110cid guys! Woo Hoo!) Inline 4cyl., Hemispherical head (yes, it has a Hemi! ;) )
One of a very few dual plane Offenhauser intake manifolds, manufactured from original molds by the Offy foundry, specifically for members of the LUV Forum a couple of years back, Webber 32/32 DGEV Carbie, Full length tube header feeding a glasspacked stack with rain flapper.
All the work was done myself, and she wheels pretty well too!

Yeah, I have always been a Domestic (and Aussie) car guy, but this little truck is a tank.
305,000 miles and going strong! Rust will likely be the ultimate death of her, cause I think the motor will run forever.
