Well after looking at the Moat jump car the Chrysler CH?Valiant coupe i found out where the grill on it came from, a 1966 Pontiac Bonneville, not a GTO and its just the grill section and top front hood valance thats used on it ,the front bumper on the Moat jump Mopar is the stock bumper it came with from the factory.heres a link about those Aussie CH?Chryslers, the early ones with the side to side headlites remind me alot of the American 1969-1972 Dodge Polara

Was the car actually produced as a hatchback, or was the car cut up to give it the large open space for the dartgunner to sit?

No if you looked at the cars on the website i added with my earlier post ,they had a trunklid, what it looks like the crew did to the moat jump car was cut out everything and the dartgun was bolted in the trunk floor,it really sucks that these cars were trashed,i mean none were cheesed out ,they had alotta ingenuity done to them my favs were the CH Valiant, red XA and the Monaro t top custom and the Valiant Charger with the pizza box hoodscoop and of course the Landau.

If you haven't seen Welcome to Wherever you are, they visit the remains of the moat jump Valiant. It now lives in an Emu farm somewhere outside Broken Hill. The owner, Mad Mick seems a pretty good guy. appeared quite willing to show off the car (and his emus) and to appear on camera. So we know for certain where at least 5 of the origional vehicles are today. (both Interceptors, the Valiant, the Cobra F-100, & a buggy)
