Also any plans to put in braces on top in the engine bay (Strut tower braces are highly recommended in these early falcons as the shock towers would move quite a lot with the weight of the V8).

As far as a brace is concerned in the top of the engine bay it is not needed as the cross member of the new suspension is over the top beefy and is welded to steel tubes running "north and south' for lack of a better term, in the lower engine bay. I just got back from out of town and will find some more pics to post.

The flex im talking about is at the top of the guards.... though with removal of the strut towers i would think its probably no longer an issue, but remember these cars are now 40yrs old and bend like a banana when you go around a corner at any reasonable speed.

Yes, you are right, it is np longer an issue with the shock towers gone now. There are also custom frame connectors (I have a pic somewhere) that tie in the sub frame. Those were also needed to bring out the full handling of the new suspension. Also the torque that will be created with the new engine.
