Mad Max slide scans

Postby Cueball » Sun Sep 06, 2009 5:25 am

Here's the first of my Mad Max slides.
Recently i got a slide scanner, which is quite a bit better than my flatbed one. Scanner comparison

I'll start with the MM2 ones, which i still need to complete.

Thanks , beautiful work Dirk :P
Btw, you proposed some screen caps to help me, get my 3D XB sedan right, I have since been in contact with a board member
willing to take some measurement on his own BB replica..
Would you happen to have some behind the scene material on MM1?
Specially interested in the HQ Monaro with Bronze Lights & wheel flares briefly seen in the garage scene....

Ps : are you using a Nikon slide scanner with the ICE program ?
I know from experience that even with the 200 slides charger (and that is if your slides are framed in plastic and not cardboard),
It's a hell of a time consuming work, hope to see some links to 600 dpi's
Thanks again !

Unfortunately the MM1 slides are just publicity shots, which have been already seen for sure.
I'm sure many of the MM2 ones i own have been seen by most of you guys too, but there are
a few which are quite nice.
It's a Reflecta Crystalscan 7200 with ICE, unfortunately without magazine... only one by one :o
Since i dont have hundreds of slides it is ok.
I dont know, man..... I just got here meself!
