After a nuclear war decimated the northern hemisphere, the surviving population in the south become desperate and violent competing for scarce resources. Society crumbles and an infectious bacteria threatens to destroy those who remain.

Not to sound negative, but...

"a self appointed government called 'The ORDER' distributed an immunization to the bacteria, via a massive Electro-Magnetic Pulse (EMP)."

What?...and I did have to correct some spelling even though I pasted that from the link.

The spelling is correct, apart from the typo in magnetic. It is the sentence structure and grammar that make it hard to read.

(this is Australia, therefore we spell with an s rather than a z)

Point taken about the s/z thing. It showed up in the spellcheck with the red squiggly. Still trying to figure out how an EMP could spread a virus that affects people. Makes Halloween 3 seem logical.

Sometimes I'm a little embarrassed to be part of this community and today is certainly one of those days.

Indie features like this are incredibly tough to produce. Anyone making any progress should be applauded. It's comments like the above that films like Mad Max had to overcome.

As for the plot, just read the website, it's not rocket science to work out how it works.

I'd write more but frankly I'm too ashamed to find the energy right now.

The film also has Bruce Spence in it. I for one am definitely interested in seeing it.

The film I was referring to , Wyrmwood was an indie film as well that I have supported for over a year and got off my ass and went and sat in a near empty movie theatre and had a bloody good time.
I'm sorry but I watched the trailer for BWO and it did not excite any part of me much like the The Rover , but I probably will watch them both when and if they go straight to DVD , sorry to upset you MWFV8 with my opinion :|

You are more than entitled to your opinion, dude. It's just the way you put it.

Good on you for supporting the indie scene with Wyrmwood :)

Support Aussie independents you lacklustre bastards. Hell, we had some of the most original ideas in the world, and Wymwood follows that great tradition. I felt like I was back in the 80s watching it (thats a good thing). I'll support this when it comes out. Hit me up if you want the Big Bopper at the opening!
