2015 will not only be the year Mad Max: Fury Road will be released.

A while back there were talks about a final Phantasm film. It was even at IMDb.
But a bit later there was nothing mentioned about it anymore. The IMDb entry was gone also.

But by coincidence I found out they are working at a final Phantasm film again. It is already in post-production and to be released in 2015. Phantasm: Ravager.
And thankfully it has still the most important key actors playing there old parts.
Angus Scrimm as The Tall Man
Reggie Bannister as Reggie
A. Michael Baldwin as Mike
Bill Thornbury as Jody

I cant wait to see this final film in the Phantasm series. These films are one of my favorites also.

And if you check out youtube, the Hemicuda is still there. But also something that looks like a car with machineguns mounted onto it.
"UNDERSTEER" is when you hit the fence with the front of the car.
"OVERSTEER" is when you hit the fence with the rear of the car.
"HORSEPOWER" is how fast you hit the fence.
"TORQUE" is how far you take the fence with you.

I was just looking closer to the info on the IMDb message board.
There is a link to the Phantasm Community forum. And there is a tread about the battle Cuda. And like someone mentioned, the Cuda is going Mad Max style.
Here are some pictures of the Cuda.
So, that's the machinegun you can see in the teaser video.
"UNDERSTEER" is when you hit the fence with the front of the car.
"OVERSTEER" is when you hit the fence with the rear of the car.
"HORSEPOWER" is how fast you hit the fence.
"TORQUE" is how far you take the fence with you.
