Dream Cars

Doesn't quiiiite fit in the Film & replica cars section, but is related.

Scenario: Congratulations, you've just picked the winning lottery ticket!
The take home winnings are in the eight digit range.
(I'm told they divide Post tax winnings into equal payments over 25 years., So $75 mil after taxes would be $3 million a year)

I know most of you are Car guys to one degree or another.. I'm just curious.. what car(s) would you all pick?

Daily driver: I'd want to keep.. "Gray" for this particular vehicle, so I think I'd keep my '99 Jeep Cherokee.
New Paint.. probably Green (Green is nice) & a few knickknacks like a nice set of Mickey Thompson Baja tires, maybe some bushwacker flares, etc.. nothing too eye catching.
K.I.S.S. (Keep it Simple, stupid)

Playtime Driver: a Black on black, Interceptor inspired 2010 Mustang.
Probably a 540Hp Roush with a Mach 1/XBGT Styled Ram air hood & A shaker scoop poking out of that.

Nostalgia ride: My 1973 AMC Javelin pulled out of storage & restomodded until my eyes bleed.
Indy Cylinder Heads makes an all aluminum 500"-512" V-8 that hits 800 Hp, but for this car, I think I'd go with their 370 inch Street Master. 360 HP is perfectly adequate for what would be primarily a special occasion cruiser.

Oh, and I'd be way more than interested in making all of the above Multi-Fuel capable, in fact it'd be a major goal.

If I were to do an Interceptor Replica (Or have one built, rather) I'd have to break from the mold.
Most replica builders try to build replicas of the "Prop" or "Actor" car, what with the fake blower on the Not-600hp-not-DOHC-Not-Phase-IV-Headed-351-Cleveland

I'd strive more for the.. "Character" car.
I'd go for a big displacement modular V-8, twin screw supercharger, updated suspension and wheels & rubber that would allow the car to handle a bit better than one would expect.
While keeping as close to the traditional look as possible.

My dream vehicles would have to be the BOB of course, and any of the Mad Max 2 maraurauder vehicles. There are dozens more I want but these are the ones I would want the most.

In Oz you get the whole lot in one cheque, and you dont pay tax on the winning amount.

So.... I'll buy the original Interceptor in the UK museum, then a Leyland Force 7 coupe, then a Plymouth Roadrunner Superbird, 426 Hemi 4 spd of course, then a Lamborghini Countach and Im done. Im not greedy.

As a daily driver an Alfa Romeo 159 SW 3.2L JTS V6 4wd full ops.
Of course a MM1 BoB replica.
And my current hobby car would be restorated and modded ASAP. That's a Bertone X1/9 USA.

OK, 3 million a year for 25 years.

I would buy 2 cars in first year + finish current projects.
4 cars every year after.

SO I will have my ED, DC and XB (BoB) finished.
I'd buy a Bullit Mustang, Gone in 60 Mustang (not Shelby).
Buy large property with massive garage and ultra high security.

Year 2 XA Pursuit, XB Interceptor, HX panel van and XQ monaro (all from Mad Max)

Year 3. Red Mach 1 (diamonds are forever), black charger from bullit and black charger from Fast and the furious, charger from the Dukes.
(I like TV cars)
Year 4. Lambo countach from the 80's and a current shape, current shape Mustang and current shape Vette.

Year 5. Two door 57 Chev, Two do willys coupe, XA GT and XC Cobra

5 down 20 more (100 more cars) to go. It's would be money easily spent.
LTDHO = Supercharged Intercooled 5.7L 360rwkw, 6 speed

XB Coupe = Stock Fairmont GS with 351 and 4 speed.

But I really want a 600rwhp XB coupe!

Glad to see some imagination.
