I went to a house fire last night, and as we pulled up, I saw a cop car in the driveway RAMMING the garage door open! He would hit it, throw it in reverse, and ram it again! He did it like 3-4 times and smashed that mofo open! Cops rock! I wonder if Max and the MFP ever tried that one... 8-) 8-)

Distruction of government property?

Surely that is not warrented behaviour.

Sorry, no pics. And the actions of that cop certainly were warranted. By getting that door open it saved us the time of doing it ourselves, which in turn enabled us to get inside that much quicker and save most of the home from the fire. I applaud the cop's actions, his balls, and his ingenuity!

Hey Dave,
Just a heads up. There was talk today about including you and your project in a documentary.

It certainly is flattering to hear that my humble project is even being considered for something like that. I'd be up for it of course, but I think that 'real' car guys/gals would laugh at some of the half-assed work I'm doing. I think of this project as being big on ambition and small on skill. Eh, screw it; keep me posted.

HUMVEE, you needn't worry about the skill mate! I've seen some trikes and show cars that had some nasty welds and such. I think just what you've done so far would outweigh any flaws, especially considering there's really no blueprint to go from other than a few stills and snapshots of a one off car built almost 30 years ago! Looks bloody awesome in my eyes! I've been following it along and I can't wait to see the finished product!

Cheers,
Aaron
