Possible pictures of actual Fury Road vehicles

Hi,

On the 19th Sept 2011, I pulled into the Little Topar Road House which is between Wilcannia and Broken Hill to partaking in some refreshments.

There were 2 semies with vehicles on board, one of the tarps was torn.

I thought it was a Monster Truck of some sought

I asked the truckie what they were for and he said

Vehcles for the Mad Max 4 Movie, they were transporting them back to Sydney. They were apparently going to be taken to South Africa for filming as the area around Broken Hill was to green.

So I grabed the camara and some pics before they took off

Thats twice now someone has mentioned South Africa.

Two mercedes "limos"? wonder if one is the stunt double?
Or is it like a convoy for "the chiefs"?

In an interview over the weekend, Hardy specifically said Namibia was the new location. I suspect then that the vehicles will be shipped to SA and then either trucked to the location in Namibia or put on another ship that can dock and unload at Walvis Bay.

Oh, and he’s set to step into Mel Gibson’s sand-filled boots as the lead in Mad Max: Fury Road, opposite Charlize Theron. According to Hardy, training for that film starts in March, and it will be shot in Namibia.

The cars are still a long way off to being completed and being "dressed up"
But in anycase isnt the movie suppoed to be before MM3 and after MM2 in the timeline?

Also wonder what the "limos" are going to be towing???

Yeah nice to put two and two together and get confirmation these are indeed MM vehicles, I certainly never thought it was a merc limo body though.

No signs of an additional trailer in the compound, but then no signs of the duplicate either so who knows, would certainly look cool towing something.

These vehicles are just getting better and better imo.
