Because I had the opportunity to take photos of Bartertown the day before it was blown up and I've been to Mermaids Cave a few times I guess I feel "closer" to Thunderdome than the other two movies.

MM1 was a sore point for me due to it being released in 1979 and having an R rating and me still being just 16 at the time. I got my revenge in the end, I bought the novel which ended up being more graphic than the film.

MM2 remains my favourite. It sits with me very nicely.

If you REALLY hate THUNDERDOME so much, why didn't you choose to simply ignore it? It seems you're really obsessed by it as much as I am... ehehehehehehehehehehehehehhehehe

Your comments are funny but THUNDERDOME is still the most popular Mad Max movie in the world, and "ordinary" people in the street is still claiming it's "their" fave entry in the series, who does really care about "you" fake die-hard fans?

Unky Entity...we're just pulling your leg...I may not always agree with you on your preferences of movies, Thunderdome is my least favorite of the trilogy but it is still part of it. Besides your fun to rib!Image (by the way, just so nothing is lost in translation "to rib" means to poke fun of in a gentle manner, not in an offensive manner)

Cheers,

ESCAPE FROM L.A is way better than NEW YORK.
