Remember the foot handbrakes?
They were fun to stomp on.

Them foot brakes were more a US thing i think? I've seen a few imported cars with them fitted but can't think of many that came out like that down here. Probably for that exact reason as some people would have been laying skids everywhere.

I drive cabs for a living and they're mainly BA Falcon's down here, but i once drove a Commodore stationwagon when i was with Yellowcab and that had the footbrake.
That was THE first and only time i've seen one in a car down here.
I think it was maybe a 2005 model?

Didn't know they fitted them foot brakes in those commy wagons but i am a blue blood person through and through. Pretty rare thing anyway in regards to the locally produced products i would think. Just on when Ford did away with the old pull out system handbrake it was actually back in 94 not 98. Forgot about the EF Falcons and those would have been the first ones to go with a lift lever beside the drivers seat.

Pic of the custom dash I reckon they have just moved the old handbrake to the floor and Phil I wasn't implying it was a manual shifter , the inline auto shifter had a lock out so you didn't pull it back into reverse unless you had popped the button up first

Im pretty sure it's a custom handbrake. It looks exactly like how rally cars are set up so they can quickly hit the handbrake for drifting around turns. I assumed they didn't know what kinda of stunts the car would have to do so putting a handbrake on like that would help out the stunt drivers.

Well the other vehicles,Joe's Monster truck, War Rig, Giga Horse, are all 4x4. The Razor Cola was built to look 4x4, i didnt notice a front differental but the lever could be for the 4x4,or the appearance of 4x4, any other pics of cars with handbrakes? Did the interior pics of the Namibia Interceptor show a hand brake? Im curious now.

Nope. FR Interceptor didn't have that huge handbrake.

I'm pretty sure the second stick is the handbrake, Cam knows best, he built that thing.

For what its worth, my daily driver is an old C class Mercedes, and that has a foot handbrake (works exactly the same as my '72 Charger did).

That looks like a brake lever as seen in rally and drift cars.
