Parallelism between the Leone saga and the Mad Max saga

1- A fistful of dollars/Mad Max: seminal, low-budgeted movie planting the seeds of style and ideas of the saga. Classic.

2- A few dollars more/Mad Max 2: more developed and groundbreaking second movie featuring grittiness, action and a higher budget. Iconic.

3- The Good, the Bad and the Ugly/Thunderdome: ambitious, elegant and visionary third chapter featuring more story, plot and groundbreaking ideas. The commercial and often underrated entry of the saga.

4- Once upon a time the West/Fury Road: the perfection of the vision. Complex, sophisticated and action-packed movie depicting the climax of the saga film-making.

You missed a big one, Lee Van Cleef plays 2 different characters in 2 and 3 just as Bruce Spence does.

Also a lot of people consider the Good The Bad and The Ugly as prequel but lest not go there.

And thinking about it A Fistful of Dollar and For A Few Dollars More have the same actor as the main villain but 2 different characters - Gian Maria Volonté.

And he has a similar grey patch in his hair as the Toecutter too.

You nailed it! 8-)
There are also a lot of comparisons between Evil Dead and Mad Max. Congrats, man.
