MMFR: Budding feelings implied?

One of the interesting things about this movie is that there is no added on love story. However, traces of this appear in the transfusion scene, where Max is helping her, but also stroking and holding her head tenderly. I was literally sitting there thinking that he was about to give that stereotypical deep kiss. And of course there is the final look between the two, that is a bit vague but can be interpreted in more than one way.

This confirms a certain 'emotional progression' that start from the first chase scene, where Max sees Furiosa for the first time while strapped. Later on, he points the gun at her specifically (recognizing that she is a dangerous and capable individual/unknown entity) for a while until they fight together in the truck, which establishes a significant amount of trust. Thereafter, he is not pointing weapons at her or the girls.

All in all, something tells me that Mad Max fans will attempt fan-fiction and such...

Maybe the IRL tussle between the two actors was for good for the film? LOL

If there are in fact sequels and not prequels, then the relations between the two characters may be in question.

Yeah like i said in Entity's thread - he was helping a sister. A fellow Road warrior.
Nothing romantic.

... but I suspect.... it's in there.

The way Max brings her head and their faces almost touch.
