Yes I don't think it was planned I just asked that because the OP put in the plan. I realize now he might have meant planning on the fly too.

I agree about the oceans being dried up just goes too far, I was saying basically the same thing in another thread. Even if we ignore the time it would take, any future in which the oceans have dried up would be one without humans or pretty much all life as we know it today.

Dunno why everyone's getting into a lather its a bit of movie fantasy it doesn't bother me whether there is a rational explanation or not , there's lots of fantasy elements in the movie , its not a documentary :lol:

Quite possible. Considering that society was heading to the crapper before the final blow developing some high calorie densely packed food units(ala Firefly)
