Weird but great drawings.
But if this is what we're about to see in the movie, MM4 will turn out to be some maniacal mutant freakshow.
Probably a good concept as a separate film, but suitable as a MM sequel?
"UNDERSTEER" is when you hit the fence with the front of the car.
"OVERSTEER" is when you hit the fence with the rear of the car.
"HORSEPOWER" is how fast you hit the fence.
"TORQUE" is how far you take the fence with you.

Fantastic to see these and compare it to the production stuff, the crew have done an amazing job replicating some of the vehicles, particularly the tanker truck.

It's very comic book, if someone had shown me these two years ago and said they were for a new Mad Max film I wouldn't have believed them.

Fury Road is not a sequel :|

The more I look at Fury road images the more the original movies look dated , these pics clear up a few things like those " thundersticks " long poles with grenades explosives on the end kind of like the old powerheads we used to use scuba diving,
I like all these different tribes much like we suspected with their own styles of vehicles
2 locations mentioned The Citadel and Gastown , looks like Immortan Joe is the big boss of the Citadel from where the War Rig sets off so these must be the good guys ?
Also mentioned on that page in the comments someone said Tool was working on the soundtrack ?

No, Immortan Joe is the main big bad I believe and a lot of the additional shoot was for Citadel stuff.

It's interesting because Gastown is also featured in the videogame along with the "Thundersticks", just further proof of Miller and Barlog's involvement for the game being an extension or tie-in for the movie and not some "original take" that Avalanche keeps spewing BS about.

Fury Road is a sequel. Those artworks from 2001 are a proof of it. Mel Gibson was attached to the project back then when the movie was clearly a sequel. Now Mel is maybe out, but the artworks remain and are still the basis of the characters and vehicles of the movie, like they were for the Gibson incarnation of Mad Max 4. This is the same movie, minus Gibson ;)

I really doubt it's the same movie after 13 years.

Judging by the vehicles and character designs there's no way it is set between mad max 1 and 2 like some have often suggested. It does seem pretty far in the future.

Surprised it took the WB ninjas that long but it looks like the eBay listings have all been removed.

I wonder how they're going to bridge the 'old world' aka 'our reality' with THAT madness. That concept art looks like Mordor meets car culture.
I mean, as goofy as MMBT was, at least they did a throwback to the old times with Auntie Entity and the kids giving some backstory. I wonder what the hell happened that turned everyone into mutant s&m junkyard weirdos in FR:)
