To all the people making the pilgrimidge in July.

I have just driven from Cobar-B.Hill...............it's been discussed in some of the other forums but a word of caution re the wildlife on the road................take it easy! No exageration, hundreds of emus and the roos aren't napping during the day.

Hi I was speaking to a guy in Broken hill just last week, I commented that back in the mid 1980's I used to travel the Mildura to B/Hill run at high speed, he also commented that the roos were everyplace now and if travelling fast you would be sure to hit one.

So the advice of Lindi is good.

he.. he ..he.. Cobar to Broken hill, oh man I did that fast also.. the road was magnificent in places back then ... smooth, flat ,good right and left side run-off and visibility.. just perfect it was.

I picked up a hitch hiker at some place and he asked to get out again, as he was terrified.

Ha ha ha.. god I miss that!

ImageRe:- Wildlife,,,,No,,Emu's aren't born head & legless,& that green stuff covering your once smooth GS bonnet, just cost your insurance company HEAPS !

Hint No 1,,,, Have your least popular friend lead in his / her escort panelvan, with the bubble windows (who neens 'em anyway?)

Hint No 2,,,, Drink cheap moselle , just incase ya need to replenish your radiator , & if you OD on barocca's, you will have an unlimited supply of coolant coloured bladder content

Hint No3,,,,On arrival to B Hill,, go direct to the Silverton hotel, ya never know your luck,,roumor has it , the owners have a yard full of coupe parts,,not to mention an endless suppy of "I don't feel so bad 'bout my totalled pride & joy" beverage in stock.

See you there !

Hi, there seems to be a bit of confusion, the replica car display on Sunday is at Sturt Park, in Broken Hill. Check the schedule of events at http://www.back2themax.com for further info and some links.
