As part of the promotion for Mad Max, the interceptor was toured at various car shows, shopping malls, car dealerships and so on. Of course this was before the film's release, so many who saw the car had no idea what to make of it, or what the film was all about. Fortunately though some people snapped some pictures anyway, and I owe a BIG thankyou to Howard Nessen for providing the pictures shown below.

Note that at this stage the car has already been re-registered for standard road use, hence the removal of the blower set up, and the modification of the side exhausts.
